The Project PROBE

 

(Publishing Research on Emerging and Breakthroughs in Education) was created on March 26, 2025, by a group of passionate student researchers namely: Kathleen Kate Atienza, Reicea Reyven Ebuenga, Winpray Gabrielle Andaya, Marc Gerald Aguilar, Maria Lyn Espolon, John Cedric Caña, Arwen Mies Valdeavilla, Jeofcee Excelise, Jarede Kathryn Albuñan, and Aquiles Noble, who recognized the need for a platform where students could publish their research and contribute to the academic community.

 

Inspired by their experience in conducting research, they realized the potential of establishing a research journal that would not only showcase outstanding studies but also encourage scholarly engagement among their peers.

 

Their vision was to turn student research into more than a classroom assignment—they wanted to establish a lasting academic space where young researchers could refine their work, gain professional recognition, and motivate others to seek meaningful inquiry.

 

With Project PROBE, they provided a platform for students to learn the process of academic publishing, improving their writing and research capabilities as well as their readiness for academic and professional careers in the future. With the growth of the journal, it became a center for student-led research excellence, encouraging teamwork among students, teachers, and academic mentors. This was created to establish a foundation that continues to empower new generations of student researchers, so their work helps shape the future of education, fosters innovation, and fuels meaningful academic debate.

 

Today, Project PROBE continues its mission, ever-changing to give students the tools, opportunities, and inspiration to seek knowledge, question ideas, and help create a brighter academic future. In addition, Project PROBE was established to serve as a platform for disseminating research within the education sector.

 

From its inception, it has aimed to bridge the gap between academic research and relevant educational and societal challenges, fostering innovation and facilitating the exchange of knowledge among teachers, researchers, and students. As an online research journal, Project PROBE is dedicated to publishing groundbreaking studies in the field of education. It provides a venue for students and researchers to share ideas, tackle educational issues, and improve learning environments, all while upholding academic excellence.

 

A collective of student researchers, along with their adviser, founded this platform to showcase their research accomplishments. Through Project PROBE, they aspire to recognize student contributions, encourage inquiry, and broaden access to significant research for a wider audience.
